Two newsletters and a local organizing group, Hastings, Minnesota

Hastings Happenings and Hastings Progressives

Two ways of keeping a river town informed: a free email every Monday morning about what's going on, and a grassroots group's website, newsletter, voter guide and shop.

A local newsletter editor needed a signup page, an archive, and one place to see issues, listings and subscribers.

I built the signup and archive on hastingshappenings.com, and a private portal over the newsletter's Airtable base and email list. The editor sees subscriber count and open rate on the home page, and manages ideas, invoices, contacts and issues without database skills.

Hastings Progressives

A website with events, a voter guide that gives every local candidate on the ballot their own words, and newsletter signup.

An email newsletter built and sent from EveryAction, an online merch shop, and a full brand set. I do this work as the group's volunteer digital organizer.
