What I'm Building Next: Prompt Kits

Two kits coming soon, each built from a place I've actually worked: nonprofit fundraising and school counseling.

Been heads down lately and wanted to pull back the curtain a little on what's coming out of Empty Bar next.

I'm building prompt kits. Two of them, dropping soon.

If you're not familiar with the term, here's the short version. A prompt kit is a curated collection of AI prompts built around a specific job or workflow. Instead of staring at a blank chat window trying to figure out what to ask, you get prompts that are already dialed in, with clear inputs and predictable outputs. Copy, fill in the brackets, get a solid first draft. That's it.

I know there's a lot of noise in the AI tools space right now. Everyone's selling something. What I'm trying to do with Empty Bar is different. I don't build generic tools for generic people. Every kit I release comes from a place I've actually worked from.

The first kit: nonprofit fundraising

The first kit is for nonprofit fundraising professionals. Grant writers, development directors, executive directors who wear twelve hats and still have to write a compelling LOI by Friday. I've worked inside nonprofit data and operations. I know what the blank page feels like when you're the only person on the development team and the deadline is real. This kit is built for that person.

The second kit: school counselors

The second kit is the one I'm most proud of. It's for school counselors.

I'm a licensed school counselor. Six years. I know what it's like to carry a caseload of 400 kids, run small groups, deliver classroom guidance, and still be expected to document everything in a way that holds up to ASCA standards. There is almost nothing out there built for counselors with that kind of credibility behind it. Most AI tools treat school counseling like a generic teaching job. It's not.

Every prompt in that kit is ASCA-aligned and grounded in evidence-based practice. CBT, solution-focused approaches, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing. The frameworks are named. The standards are cited. You could hand the output to your principal and defend it professionally. That's the bar I built it to.

When and where

Both kits are in production now and will be available on Gumroad shortly. The counseling kit will also be on Teachers Pay Teachers.

More updates coming as we get closer. If you want to be the first to know when they drop, keep an eye here.

This is what Empty Bar is about. Tools built from real experience, for people doing real work.

With care,
