Household app for iPhone, Android and a screen in the kitchen

Tend

A shared calendar and lists for one household, on your phones and on a screen in the kitchen.

Tend's kitchen wall showing the next five days as sticky notes and a shared board, with the Today and Calendar screens on two phones in front. Board photos are blurred
The problem

A household's plans live in several calendars, a few group texts and a list on the fridge. Nobody has the whole picture.

What I built

Phone apps for iPhone and Android, and a wall display at tendwall.com that shows the week on any old tablet or monitor in the kitchen. One household, one shared calendar and set of lists.

I designed the visual system as well: two themes, Paper and Evening, built from one set of color tokens, with contrast measured at every text size instead of picked by eye. This site uses the Evening palette.

Built with

Expo and EAS, TypeScript, Supabase, RevenueCat, Cloudflare (wall display), Vercel (tendwall.com), PostHog, Sentry, Resend, Figma
